# Agilent 8890 GC / 7000D — GC-MS (electron ionization)

**Instrument:** Agilent **8890 GC** + **7000D** quadrupole MS, **electron ionization (EI, 70 eV)**,
full-scan GC-MS.
**New axis:** first **GC-MS / EI** acquisition in the corpus — fundamentally different ionization
(electron impact vs ESI) and unit-resolution; exercises `MS:1000389 electron ionization` + GC
nativeID handling.
